Why energy efficient homes need grants of the same nature

Owning a house is not a cheap venture, it is very expensive but the investment is worth it at the end of the day. There are those people who decide to have energy efficient homes and I understand that needs a lot of commitment and resources that will make a lot of changes and cost someone a lot of money. That is why people who have energy efficient homes are eligible for Grants For Energy Efficient Homes. They are even offered the grants so that it could act as a motivator and attract many people to that kind of living. This living style is good because the environment is conserved too and it improves because no harmful components are not ruining them. The one way that I know one can conserve energy in their homes is by using solar panels. What these panels do is that they tap in the power from the sun and then when it is dark, the solar panels can be able to emit light instead of people depending on electricity.
